Dovetail Box Making Course (3 day)
Dovetail Box Making Course is designed for woodworkers who want to master one of the most essential and elegant woodworking techniques – the dovetail joint.
Whether you’re building fine furniture or small keepsake boxes, dovetail joints are a hallmark of quality craftsmanship.
At the end of the course you will take away a keepsake box.

Stool Making Course (3 day)
In this hands-on workshop, participants will build an elegant wooden stool using traditional hand tools.

Mallet Making Course (1 day)
In this one-day workshop, participants will explore the craft of woodworking by building a functional wooden mallet using traditional hand tools.
Through hands-on practice, participants will develop essential skills in measuring, cutting, shaping, and finishing wood, with an emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Wooden Tote Making Course (3 day)
In this three-day course, participants will craft their own wooden tote — a versatile carry-all perfect for tools, art supplies, or gardening essentials. Guided step by step, participants will learn foundational woodworking skills such as measuring, cutting, joining, and finishing.
Using hand tools and safe workshop practices, each participant will leave with a sturdy and functional tote of their own creation, along with the confidence to take on future woodworking projects.

Oak Wall Shelf (weekly)
This hands-on woodworking course teaches participants how to design, cut, assemble, and finish a classic oak wall shelf.
The project highlights through mortise and tenon joinery, working with hardwood, and achieving a fine finish that showcases oak’s natural grain.
You will be given milled solid Oak ready to markup and start joinery work.
By the end of the course, participants will have built a functional and elegant oak shelf suitable for home display or storage.

I have never done woodwork, can I attend?
Yes, this course is aimed for beginners and enthusiasts alike.
The course is demanding physically and mentally as there is a great deal of content.

What clothing is required?
Comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty.
Safety glasses and dust masks are provided.
- No open toe footwear.
- No shorts.
- No loose-sleeved clothing.
- Long hair should be tied back.

Is there parking?
Yes there is plenty of free parking close to the workshop.

How can I pay?
Payment can be made by credit card or a bank transfer.

What should I bring?
For the day course it is advisable to bring lunch as there is a 30 min lunch break.
A bottle of water as it is thirsty work!
Eye Glasses because we work to fine marking lines!
A sharp pencil is recommended.

How old do you have to be to attend the course?
The course is designed for adults and each student must be 18 years old on the date of the chosen class.

What tools do I need?
We supply all the tools and PPE you need throughout course.

The course is designed for beginners. We will start by learning how to use tools safely, making woodworking joints using the hand tools, on some courses there will be multiple projects to make.
